Connie Elaine Alsum (“Boo Boo”) was born on August 1st, 1959, in LaGrange, Georgia. She departed this life on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022. She resided in Indianapolis, Indiana. Connie was a loving and dedicated wife and is survived by her husband, Terry Alsum. She was also a proud and devoted mother and is survived by her children, Sylvia Lloyd (Christopher Lloyd), Sylvester Truitt Jr., Sybil Walker (Tarvis Walker), and Sylvester “Lamont” Truitt. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill ” Cameron and Jessie Mae Cameron. She was blessed with a large family and is survived by her sisters Glennis Jackson, Vera Gene Johnson, and brothers Nathaniel Cameron Sr., Stanley Cameron, and Freddie Cameron. Connie is also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She lived her life to the fullest and never gave up in the face of adversity. She fought to the very end and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
