Clyde Lee Clark, 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana entered the heavenly gates on Monday, January 22, 2018 at home in the presence of loved ones.
Clyde Lee Clark was born November 12, 1938 in Lynch, KY to Mose Clark Sr. and Esther Williamson Houser.
Clyde graduated from Lynch High School in 1956, where he was an outstanding student.
Clyde lived in New York and Columbus Ohio and moved, in the early 70s, to Indianapolis where he resided for over 40 years. Clyde's former employers included Western Electric, Western Auto, Thorpe and Associates, and was a Yellow Cab Taxi driver.
Clyde was a member of St. Mark AME Zion Church in Indianapolis, IN. Over the last few years, he fellowshipped at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
Clyde was a devoted son, brother, uncle and known for being a community taxi driver for any child that needed a ride and/or a listening ear. He always had special and enduring names for family and friends. He will also be remembered for his many 'Clydisms'.
He is survived by his siblings: Mose Clark Jr., Gearldine Thorpe, Tommie Walls, Esther (Stan) Whittlesey, Arthur Houser and Barney Houser, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
