Clara Mae Flowers

Clara Mae Flowers was born May 19, 1946 and passed away on September 6, 2017. Clara was born in Pickens, Mississippi and was the eldest daughter of the late Ura and Ida Mae Clerk.

Clara attended Sam L. Brinkley Elementary and High School where she graduated, in Jackson, Mississippi.
Clara later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. She was employed at Church's Chicken as the Manager for over 30 years until her retirement.
Clara was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church where she was very active.
Clara is survived by her four children, Bobby Undre Clerk of Mississippi, Willie Anna Curshell Flowers Brown (Kareem), RoseMary Flowers (Bill) of California and Craig Edwards (Clara) of Indiana; siblings, Eddie Mural Clerk, Adell Jester Southern and Cheryl Denise Price all of Mississippi, Shelia Ruth Clerk of Ohio and Ura Harry Clerk of Missouri; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews other family members and friends.

A Visitation was held at Grace Missionary Baptist Church 1501 N. College Ave Indianapolis IN 46202 at 10:00:00 AM on 9/15/2017.

A Funeral Service was held at Grace Missionary Baptist Church 1501 N. College Ave Indianapolis IN 46202 at 11:00:00 AM on 9/15/2017.
