Cheyrel Chardon Polin

Cheyrel, also known as “Chey” or “Shakey”, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 25, 1985. She professed her faith in Christ at an early age.

Cheyrel attended Indianapolis Public School #92, Belzer Middle School, Lawrence Central High School, and later completed her GED.

She was employed at Pizza Hut and Delta Faucet. Cheyrel had a passion for horses, fishing, animals and nature. She loved music, poetry and previously enjoyed performing on stage as a rapper. She also loved to do nails but would definitely not touch anyone's feet.

Cheyrel departed this life on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the age of 39 years old.

Her father, Charles E Polin; mother, Charline Polin; and sister, Sherri French preceded her in death.

Cheyrel is survived by her siblings: Jeffery L. Garrett Sr., Tanya Groves, Christopher Merriweather, Desmond Turner Sr. (Barbara), Charles Polin lll (Shawna), Brianna Davis-Reyes, Ashley Davis Reyes, and Dion Taylor; along with a host of nieces, nephews, Godchildren, loving family and friends; her favorite cousin, "Lulu", and special friend, "Tasha".
