Charlotte Antoinette Franklin
Our beloved Charlotte Antoinette Franklin, affectionately called "Sweet Pea," peacefully departed this world at the age of 62, surrounded by her loving family in Avon, Indiana, on June 17, 2024.
Charlotte was born on May 30, 1962, in Oxford, Mississippi, to parents Sue Wadie Mathis and Willie Matthew Townsend.
Charlotte grew up in South Bend, Indiana, after her family relocated there in 1969. She attended and graduated from John Adams High School. In 1978, she married the love of her life, Larry Darnell Franklin, and was blessed with two beautiful children, Larry Darnell and Candi Antoinette.
Throughout her life, Charlotte wore many hats professionally, but she found true fulfillment in working with children at Learn & Love Childcare and The Flowers Learning Center. Charlotte loved life and brought joy to any gathering she attended. She found her greatest joy in the company of her family and friends, and always made herself available whenever anyone needed her.
Charlotte enjoyed drawing, painting, and watching old Western movies. She was also passionate about cooking, reorganizing spaces, and solving puzzles while watching Lifetime movies.
