Charles "Charlie" Drye

Charles Drye, affectionately known as “Charlie”, was born on March 3, 1944 in Eunice, Kentucky to the late Samuel and Buelah Drye. He was preceded in death by his brothers Elbert Drye, James RC Drye, Bobby Drye and nephew, Robert Drye.
Charles professed a hope in Christ at an early age.
Charles attended Eunice Public Schools and graduated from Columbia High School in 1963.
Charles moved to Cincinnati, Ohio shortly after high school and then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana.
Charles worked at Diamond Chain for a few years and then worked for Bryant Heating and Cooling for 30 years until he retired in 2002.
Charles enjoyed watching basketball, baseball and football. He also enjoyed barbecuing.
Charles Drye went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2021 at the age of 77.
Charles’s kind heart and willingness to help others will always remain in the hearts of Life Partner Betty Shealey; brother, Elmer Lewis Drye (Marcia); nephew, Orlando Drye; nieces, Venitra Crawford, Ladonna Mosley (Dale), Lisa Kelley (Charles) and Tanna Drye; great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends who knew and loved him dearly.
