Cassandra Ann Lothery "Sandy"

Ms. Cassandra Ann Lothery, affectionately known as “Sandy”, was born January 29, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio, to Janet Lothery Durley. She was called Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 15, 2024, in Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Sandy graduated from Edward Drummond Libbey High School in 1979 and attended Bowling Green State University as well as Ivy Tech Community College to further her education. Sandy enjoyed her work at Toledo area YMCAs as well as Maumee Youth Center. Her hobbies included a love for crafting and doting on her granddaughter, Christena.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Paul H. Lothery Sr. and Mary Pearl Lyons Lothery, aunts Marcia Fitzpatrick and Jacqueline Lothery, uncle Raymond (Billie) Lothery, and cousin James (Pam) Fitzpatrick.

Sandy leaves to cherish her memories through her son, Christian Lothery of Dallas, Texas, and granddaughter, Christena Lothery of Indianapolis, Indiana. Sandy will also be missed by her mother, Janet Lothery Durley, Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Melanie Durley, Atlanta, Georgia; uncles Paul Jr. (Louise) Lothery, Winter Garden, Florida; Michael Lothery and Darryl (Catherine) Lothery, Toledo, Ohio; very close cousins Ebony Lothery, Robert (Keisha) Lothery, Paul “Nuck” Fitzpatrick, Kim Fitzpatrick, and Lanesha Fitzpatrick; special family friends Lakisha Molin; Stephen Moore and Stacey Moore; and a host of cousins and other loving relatives and kind friends.
