Carmelita Mcclury

Carmelita McClury born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 30th, 1958. She was loved and raised by Albert and Virginia Johnson.

Carmelita graduated from Emmerich Manual High School. She was employed with United States Post Office for over 24 years.

Carmelita enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed going to church, shopping, concerts/festivals, out to eat, traveling, and hosting events.

Carmelita departed this life December 10, 2021, at the age of 63. She was preceded in death by her parents Ronald Simington; Albert Johnson and Virginia Johnson; sister Alberta Johnson, brother Albert Johnson Jr.; grandmother Abigail Hathaway and Grandfather Calvin Hathaway.

Carmelita leaves to cherish her memory, brothers Theodore Hathaway, Peter Johnson, Andrew Johnson Sr., Jack Johnson. Sister: Lottie Johnson. Her children; LaTanya Jones (Theadore Jones), Crystal Little, Ronald Winbush Jr. (Courtney Winbush). Grandchildren; Kiana Jones, Abdul-Hakeem Jones, Napata Jones, Nzinga Jones, Micah Little, Rasheed, Angel. Great grandchildren; Lanylah Hawthorne and Kamaria Hawthorne. And a host of relatives and friends.
