Carla Jean 'Caca' Sides

Ms. Carla Jean 'CaCa' Sides, age 54 passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016.Carla was born to the late Ronald P. Sides, Jr. and Beulah M. Strayhorn-Sides.She accepted Christ at an early age at Church of the Living God under the leadership of the late Pastor George Williamson.Carla enjoyed family gatherings and she lived life to the fullest. She was a great domestic worker and the best cook you would ever come across.'CaCa' as she was affectionately called, loved taking care of the children. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.Carla leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Shaneka S. Brewer; granddaughter, Dariana Brewer; great-grandson, Hayden Szabo; a brother, Darrell Sides; two sisters, Donna Sides and Carol Moses (Patrick); and a host of other family members and friends.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2nd from 11am until 12 Noon at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1301 N. Goodlet Ave. Funeral service will follow at 12 Noon.
