It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Canandra “Nana” Denise Killebrew-Linton on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the age of 45. Canandra was born to Craig and Frances Killebrew on Tuesday, January 2, 1979, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Canandra graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1996. After graduating high school, she continued her education at the University of Southern Indiana. She then transferred to Indiana Wesleyan University where she earned her Associate's degree in Management in 2007. Next, she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Management in 2011. Lastly, she received her Master’s of Business Administration with a focus in Applied Management in 2015. She received all her accolades while also being a working mother.

Canandra was married in 2001 and the union produced four amazing daughters: Daisjia Lamondra, Daisjonna Lanise, Dalise Le’Rae, and Daleya Love. Canandra dedicated her life to the well-being and happiness of her daughters and created a close-knit family unit that will forever be cherished.

Canandra had a promising career as an IT Business Partner Manager at Smart Care Equipment Solutions for 17 years. Canandra was extremely passionate about her career and dedicated to her team and company. During her time with Smart Care Canandra earned her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in 2016. She became a certified SCRUM Product Owner in 2021 and received many leadership awards over the years.

Canandra had a passion for programming and app development. Her hobbies included interior design, painting, shopping, cooking, and most of all spending time with family and caring for her children and grandchildren.

Canandra was a self-proclaimed “Lifelong Learner.” She had a thirst for knowledge and yearned to grow each and every day. Canandra was extremely hardworking, loving, and a true matriarch. She instilled the principles of education, preparation, couth, and tenacity in all that she led.

Remaining to cherish Canandra’s memory are daughters: Daisjia Lamondra, Daisjonna Lanise, Dalise Le’Rae, and Daleya Love; grandchildren, Ky’lan, Dexlin, and Khaza; parents, Craig Killebrew Sr. and Frances Killebrew-Heard; siblings: Craig Killebrew Jr., Corey Killebrew, and Nastassaja Daniels; son-in-law, Blake Ross; nieces and nephews: Chione Killebrew, Johrdan Randolph, Elijah Killebrew, Xavier Killebrew, and Jayanna Woods; a host of loving family and friends.

Preceding Canandra in death are grandparents, Edith & Robert Richardson and Nellie & Robert Killebrew Sr.
