Camielle Rachelle Martin "Mille"

Ms. Camielle “Mille” Rachelle Martin, born on March 20, 1992, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Andrea Lynn Payne and Christopher Martin. Camielle, the cherished only child of her mother, was a beacon of love, humility, and kindness throughout her life. From the moment of her birth, her magnetic personality and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of everyone she met. She had a deep and unwavering faith, beginning her Christian journey at Salt of The Earth Church and dedicating her life to Christ at an early age. Camielle's angelic voice graced the church choir, and her singing was truly a heavenly blessing.

Mille attended Pike Township Schools throughout her education, graduating from Pike High School in May 2011. She was a popular and vibrant presence in school, known for her remarkable singing voice. Mille was a valued member of the Pike High School Choralaire Ladies and Encores Mystiques. She was also honored to represent Pike Township as a special guest during the 3rd Annual Gospel Explosion.

Mille’s proudest moment was being featured as an artist providing background vocals on “The Warning” soundtrack with B The Messenger. After graduation, Mille pursued a career in customer service, where her warm and welcoming personality continued to shine.

Mille had a zest for life and a variety of interests that brought her joy. She had a special connection with children and found fulfillment in working with them. An active member of the Indy Skate Community, Mille loved the thrill of skating and the camaraderie it brought. She was also an avid bowler, always eager to hit the lanes for a friendly competition. Cooking and eating were Mille's passions, but nothing brought her more joy than enjoying the delicious meals prepared by her mother and grandmother. Her warm and loving nature, combined with her vibrant personality, will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her.
