Cameron Duan Shaw, a vibrant soul with a heart full of kindness, departed this world at the tender age of 23 in his hometown of Indianapolis, IN. Born in East Chicago, IN, Cameron brings joy and light to all those blessed to know him.


Cameron, affectionately known as Cam by his loved ones, is a son, a brother, and a friend like no other. He's preceded in death by his father LaMarr Duan Shaw, and is now survived by his loving mother, Nicole Neal (Elijah Neal Jr), big brother Stacy Shaw, two sisters Nadia and London Jones, little brother Elijah Neal III, grandmother's Linda Baker and Darlene Fleming, grandfather's John "Papa" Robinson Sr and Willie Shaw, as well as a legion of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The bond between Cameron and his loved ones is unbreakable, filled with love and shared moments that will be cherished forever.


Cameron embarked on his educational journey at IU Bloomington University, where he nurtured his thirst for knowledge and discovery. Cameron with a passion for motorcycles, a passion he inherited from his father, spent countless hours fixing cars with his Papa in Gary, IN. A talented young mechanic, truly gifted in understanding the intricate workings of vehicles.


In addition to his mechanical prowess, is the love of sports, particularly rugby and wrestling. With his competitive spirit and drive, some would say a force to be reckoned with on the field. Alongside his athletic pursuits, a deep love for travel and exploration, always seeking out new adventures and experiences. His adventurous spirit and contagious smile earns him a spot in the hearts of those who treasure him.


Cameron's kind heart and ability to give bear hugs to those he loves, endear him to everyone. Having a way of making people feel valued, understood, and appreciated. His presence equates to a sense of warmth and happiness, leaving a lasting impact on all who have had the privilege of crossing his path.


While we mourn the loss of body, we also celebrate his soul. The light his memory brings into our lives. His legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable experiences continues to resonate in our hearts. Though he may no longer be with us physically, his spirit forever shines bright among us, guiding us with love and care.


In honor of Cameron, let us hold dear the moments shared, the lessons learned, and the love given by Cameron.
