BRYON M. HUBBARD, respectfully known as “Punkin,” was birthed into this world on September 27, 1966 in Indianapolis, IN to Guy L. Hubbard Sr. and Clara Etta Foster Hubbard. He was the youngest of seven children, and accepted Christ into his life at an early age. Bryon attended Indianapolis Public Schools #71 and #73; Heritage Christian School; and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1984.
Bryon grew into an ambitious young man when he began his working career at the early age of 15 at Kentucky Fried Chicken in hopes to support his mother. In the year of 1989, he joined the United States Army and gained his Honorable departure in 1993 after serving in The Gulf War. Soon after, Bryon embarked on his creditable work profession at the United States Postal Service where he accomplished twenty-six years.
There were many activities that Bryon “Punkin” enjoyed doing during his leisure time. For starters, his love for luxury and sporty cars allowed him to coast on the freeway as he would vibe out to some good music. When he was available, he would make his presence known at family functions where he was able to smile, laugh and enjoy his time away from the workplace. By the end of the night, he would wind down to begin watching ESPN to catch up with his Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts.
On August 25, 1989, Bryon was united in marriage to Angela Y. Brown[1]Hubbard. Their union was blessed with three beautiful daughters: Diamond, Chyneal and E’Londra. Bryon later became a loving grandfather to Za’Kiejhay, Maleek, Zachary Jr. and Ce’mya whom they referred to as “Papa Punkin”.
Bryon M. Hubbard transitioned on Sunday, June 18, 2023 to be with his mother, Clara Etta Foster Hubbard; father, Guy L. Hubbard Sr.; brother, Bobby D. Hubbard Sr.; and sister-in-law, Sylvia Hubbard.
His legacy will be carried on through his wife, Angela Y. Brown-Hubbard; three children: Diamond L. Hubbard (Donzell), Chyneal J. Hubbard-Bell (Zachary) and E’Londra M. Hubbard (Scott); four grandchildren: Maleek D. Hyche, Za’Kiejhay M., Zachary A. Jr. and Ce’mya J. Bell; siblings: Minister Gwendolyn Parrish, Beverly Hubbard-Kersey, Elder Donald Hubbard (Valerie), Guy L. Hubbard Jr. and Aubrey Hubbard; sister-in-law, Shannon Hubbard.
