Booker T. Campbell, the 7th child of Archie and Birthel (Dixson) Campbell, was born August 22, 1938 in Jackson, Tennessee.

He attended West High School in Jackson, Tennessee. Booker worked for Central State Hospital for 30+ years. He later went on to drive dump trucks. 

Booker was a man of his words; he was a friend to everyone and helped each and every person he met. Booker played baseball for many years and was a fan of the Chicago Cubs.

Booker was united in Holy Matrimony to Terri Smith and they remained happily married until his passing. 

Booker T. Campbell departed this life on Monday, January 13, 2025 at the age of 86 years. His mother and father; brothers: Willie E., GC and Clifton Campbell; sisters: Lizzie Ragland, Pattie Pettus and Linda Dupee; and son, Willie F. Lawrence all preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Terri L. Campbell; two daughters, Leslie Edmonds (Jimmy) and Crystal Lasley (Dwight); three sisters: Willow Mae Whiteside, Pearline Mathis and Eunice Exum; two brothers, Archie B. Campbell (Doris) and Author James Campbell; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Booker T. will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
