Mrs. Billie Jo Searcy

Billie Jo (Bradshaw) Searcy was born November 8, 1943 in Glasgow, Kentucky to John W. Bradshaw, Sr. and Lucille Bradshaw, whom have preceded her in death.

Billie attended elementary school in Kentucky. Upon moving to Indianapolis, Indiana, Billie attended Arsenal Technical High School graduating in 1961. While attending high school Billie met the love of her life, Harry Searcy.

Billie and Harry married on June 29, 1962. To this union three beautiful daughters were born, Andrea Denise, Stephanie Rene' and Jennifer Lynn.

Billie was a loving, kind and hardworking wife, mother and friend. She was employed by Herff Jones and retired from OneAmerica (AUL) Insurance Company after 24 years of dedicated service.

Billie loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and nieces. Her past-times included cooking, babysitting (Billie loved all children especially babies), shopping and decorating, especially at her favorite holiday - Christmas.

Billie leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her 'Main Man' loving husband Harry Searcy; daughters, Andrea D. Searcy, Stephanie R. Searcy and Jennifer L. Jackson (Patrick); grandchildren, Jordan K. Jackson and Jalynn B. Jackson; sister, Terri L. Bradshaw; brothers, Rondial Bradshaw and Gregory L. Bradshaw; two brothers, Bobby Brent Bradshaw and John W. Bradshaw, Jr. preceded her in death. Her loving aunts, Dorothy Jean Williams and Ella Nelson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, honorary grandchildren and friends.

A Visitation was held at Westside Missionary Baptist Church 6321 LaPas Trail Indianapolis IN 46268 at 10:00:00 AM on 4/11/2017.

A Funeral Service was held at Westside Missionary Baptist Church 6321 LaPas Trail Indianapolis IN 46268 at 12:00:00 PM on 4/11/2017.
