Beverly Louise Neville

Beverly Louise Neville was born December 1, 1940, in Indianapolis, IN to parents William and Susie Malone. 

Beverly grew up in a close-knit neighborhood community on Alvord Street in Indianapolis, In. She attended John Hope Public School # 26 and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1959, where she was known as a track star. She also received her associated degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech where she graduated with honors. 

Beverly was joined in union to Grover H. Neville Jr. known as (Sonny) on February 21, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The couple had four children: Myron Neville, Regina Neville, Page Neville and Sarita L. (Neville) Wilson. 

Beverly joined St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and was baptized. As an adult she and her family united with North Tacoma Christian Church. April of 1980 Grover and Beverly were a part of the original incorporation of Community Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor Steve Huffman. In March of 1990 Community Christian Church leadership changed and William Martin Became Pastor who continues to serve.

Beverly who was affectionately known as ‘Bev’ enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping. She was a great cook. 

Beverly was also known as the neighborhood mom and would fuss at and love on the neighborhood children as if they were her own. She was quick witted and had a ‘Boss’ personality. 

Beverly was known for speaking her mind and what she said, she meant. 

Beverly peacefully transitioned on February 26,2025 at Community North Hospital with her husband at her side. 

Beverly was preceded in death by her father, mother and her siblings Norman Malone and Katherine Dunlap. 

Beverly leaves to cherish her memory: Husband Grover Neville Jr.; Son (Myron and Fran) Neville; Regina Neville; Page Neville; Sarita L. (Neville) Wilson; Grand-Children; Great-Grandchildren and a host of Nephews and Nieces.
