Bernice Flemister

Ms. Bernice (Annie Martin) Flemister entrepreneur and philanthropist passed away Friday, June 28,2019. She was the founding mother to the Shrimp Hut restaurants. One of Indianapolis prominent black business for over 40 years. Many will remember her as Ms. B. Where she operated Shrimp Hut Midtown, and Shrimp Hut Pennsylvania. Her love for sewing caused her to open Dominque Boutique. Ms. B was extremely active in her church and community touching the lives of everyone she came in contact with. Please join us for a quiet reflection this Saturday at 11am at Temple of Praise Assembly 3969 Meadows Drive.  Funeral service will begin at promptly at noon.
