Beatrice (Hooks) Miles

Mrs. Beatrice (Hooks) Miles was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi (but raised in Jackson, Mississippi) on May 4, 1942 to Son and Josephine (Hooks) Jackson. Beatrice graduated from Lanier High School.

Mrs. Miles relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana and was a resident for approximately 58 years.

On June 1,1962, Beatrice was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Earnest Miles and to this union four children were born. Beatrice was a homemaker, who stayed at home with the children. She was a loving and devoted mother.

Mrs. Beatrice (Hooks) Miles departed this life on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the age of seventy-six years. Her parents, Son and Josephine Hooks; sisters, Johnnie M. Robinson and Annie Mae Lindsey preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her three daughters: Linda F. Turnbow, Madeline A. Baker (Michael) and Yolanda Michelle Allen (Edward); son, Ernest Miles Jr. (June); eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; niece, Gwendolyn F. Robinson; nephew, Anthony J. Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
