Barbara Ann 'Ervin' Tudder

December 30, 1946 — March 16, 2018

Mrs. Barbara Ann Ervin Tudder was born on December 30, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents, James and Betty Delores Ervin. She was the first child of four siblings. Barbara was educated through the Indianapolis Public School system and Holy Angels schools. Barbara accepted Christ at an early age.

Barbara worked for many years at Riley Hospital as a plebotimist. She then went on to open her own business, Ms. B.A.E. Love, specializing in clothespin art design. She also loved to write and published a book, 'Unity, My Notes for Knowledge.'

Barbara was a loving mother of two sons, Damon and Kenneth. In July 1989, Barbara married Benjamin Tudder. They were happily married for 28 years.

Barbara loved and enjoyed her family and friends. Her presence was larger than life. She always had a sense of humor! Barbara loved to share her many talents with others expressing herself through her uniquely designed clothespin art. She believed in God, and bringing the best out of everyone she came in contact with. Barbara was a loving and dearly devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. Her warm smile and pleasant personality will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara peacefully departed this life on March 16, 2018 at 9:45 a.m. when God whispered to her and took her home.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Ervin and her two sons, Damon Morgan and Kenneth Whatley.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Benjamin Tudder; seven grandchildren, Carrissa Abraham, Cartonieo, Kenneth, Etolia and Steven McBride, and Rosemary and Dana Williams; eight great grandchildren; three brothers, Ules Ervin (Paula), James Ervin Jr. (Betty), and Renel Ervin Sr. (Gina); one sister, Joyce Sloan; uncle, Gerald Darden; aunts, Beverly Fletcher and Carolyn Darden, her best friend; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, loved ones and friends.


A Visitation was held at Lavenia and Summers Home For Funerals 5811 E. 38th Street Indianapolis IN 46218 at 11:00:00 AM on 3/30/2018.

A Celebration of Life was held at Lavenia and Summers Home For Funerals 5811 E. 38th Street Indianapolis IN 46218 at 12:00:00 PM on 3/30/2018.
