Arlendia L. Hill-Wright "Treasy"

Born on September 1, 1964, in Indianapolis, IN to parents John C. Smith Jr. and Sandra Pearl Jefferson-Smith, Arlendia, known to friends and family as Treasy, was the third oldest of six children. She attended Arlington High School and graduated on June 10th, 1982. After her studies at Arlington High School she attended Pontiac Business Institute where she graduated from the Administrative Medical Assisting Program. Treasy would then take her degree to Riley Children’s Hospital, working her first medical position post-graduation. While working for Riley, at the age of 27, she would give birth to her first child; Mackology Matthew Jordan Wright. Her next professional venture would be at ResCare. During this period of her life, age 30, she would give birth to her second child, Miko JuWan Wright. This was also the point in her life when she would marry Samuel Eli Hill. She would remain married to Sam until his transition in September of 2004. With her two eldest sons by her side she would endure rough times; but their love and unity would see them through. Now, at the age of 44, she would conceive her third and final son, Peter Isiah Jordan Jr. She later remarried Matthew and Miko’s father, Matthew Sr. They would later divorce and she would spend the remaining years of her life with her three sons and special friend, Damon Fain by her side. The bond and unity of her and her sons would fuel her fight for life until her last days. Today we remember the life of Ms. Arlendia Lytrise Hill-Wright.

She is survived by her three sons: Matthew Wright, Miko Wright, and Peter Isiah Jordan; as well as her siblings: Beverly Smith-Lewis, Donnell Smith (Betty), John C. Smith III, Takia E. Smith-Harrow, and Uneedra L. Smith; along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins and a host relatives and close friends. She cherished so many memories of Greater Sanders Temple COGIC Family.
