Anthony Dewayne Lamb was born to Joan Geneva Lamb and Walter Lee White on June 24, 1963 in Birmingham, Alabama. Anthony was known to his family and friends as 'Ant'.
He received his education at Indianapolis Public Schools #45, #101, and Arsenal Technical High School.
Anthony accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at an early age at Antioch Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama.
He was self-employed as a handyman and family care giver. Anthony loved spending time with his family and friends; he also had a special bond with his siblings. He also loved watching television, laughing and joking and he had a passion for fashion.
Anthony was something special to his family. He was told he would not live past the age of 18 due to Sickle Cell Anemia.
Anthony Dewayne Lamb departed his life on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the sweet age of 55 years, 2 months and 19 days. Anthony was preceded in death by his son, Dewayne Lamb; mother, Joan Lamb; father, Walter White; brothers, Charles and Andra Lamb; nephews: Christopher Lamb, Derrick Swanigan and Andre Green; aunt, Margret Davis; and cousin, Veronica Gowdy.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his son, Anthony Dewayne Lamb Jr.; brother, Curtis Lamb; four sisters: Jausalyn, Beverly, Angela and Monica Lamb; sister-in-law, Michelle Lamb; and the mother of his children, Connie Thomas; and a host of family and friends.
