A life well lived, and a woman well loved, Annie R. Tate passed away on Sunday August 18, 2024. Annie was born July 24, 1964 in Greenville, Mississippi to the union of Mary and Elvin Blair. She became a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Indiana where she graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. 

Annie gave her life to Christ at an early age following her becoming a dedicated member of New Direction Baptist Church. She then became a laundry attendant for twenty long years at Drury Inn Hotels where she received multiple rewards and recognition for being an amazing worker. She will forever be remembered for her loving ways to her family and her homemade recipes. She enjoyed making lifetime memories with her children and public outings with family and friends. 

Annie is preceded in death by father, Elvin Blair; twin sisters, Mary and Martha Blair; and her children's fathers, Leroy F. Hunter and Bennie T. Leflore. 

She is survived by her children: Rachel Garling (Jacob), Marcus Hunter, Quentin Hunter and Kayle Leflore; seven granddaughters; three grandsons; mother, Mary Blair; brother, David Blair (Melissa); sisters, Willie Mae Blair and Doris Blair; best friend, Rochelle Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
