OBITUARY FOR ANNA GLORIA SHAW
Anna G. Shaw – 92 of Indianapolis passed away March 2, 2021. She was born June 19, 1928 in Tennessee. She was one of five children born to Nora Ann Outlaw and James Garfield Jones. She obtained her High School education in Tennessee. Anna worked on the Railroad during World War II, hired by her Uncle Aaron. She retired from Kimmel Shoe Repair. Anna received the gift of the Holy Ghost and loved praising and worshiping the Lord. She taught Bible Study at Fort Harrison to seniors. She graduated from Muskegon Bible Institute Inc. with a Diploma of Theology July 19, 2003. She was a student of the Bible. She loved to serve and was a faithful, dedicated member and Sunday School Teacher at Believers In Christ for many years. She would often pick-up people for Sunday School and church services. She loved her church and her Pastor. She is preceded in death by her husband John Shaw and her siblings Ida (Chilli) Gray, Victor Jones, Pearl Brewer, and Dorothy Toliver (Clarence). Anna is survived by one nephew, Steve (Tijuana) Toliver, five great nieces and nephews and a host of great great nieces and nephews; Goddaughter, Donetta Berry, four adopted daughters; Anna Davie, Brenda Bennett, Linda Murphy, and Audrey Hiatt; five adopted sons, Wynne D Berry, Sr., Allan Jefferson, Antoine Turentine, Gary Bennett, and Paul Murphy; and special friends, Marie Amos and Oretha Smith.
