Anita Davis

Our beloved mother, Anita Davis, passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 63. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love. Anita was a dedicated employee at United Hospital Services, where she worked for 43 years. As a friend to all who knew her, she was cherished, respected, and loved by all who knew her. Anita was known for her faith in God and strongly believed in serving the Lord by working in His house. She was a cherished member of Oasis of Hope Baptist Church, where she served as an Usher.

Anita was the heart of our family. She raised three children, LaTasha (44), Jerry (38), and Jovon (33), in a happy and loving home. As a grandmother to McKinley (5), she was the "Nana," taking McKinley on exciting outings and indulging in her every whim.

Her parents, Albert Davis, Mary Cecil, and Vivian Major preceded her in death. In addition to her children and granddaughter, Anita is survived by her sisters, Judy Major and Rita Davis; brothers: Virgil, Larry, and Sylvester; and countless nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

She was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed. Upon her entry to heaven, we know God will greet her with open arms and say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
