Allan traveled on several occasions as a chaperon to the National Youth and Young Adult Conferences. Not only was his church important to him, but family was also very important to Allan. He became the family “taxi driver” in so many ways. Whenever he could, he was there to take family members and close friends wherever they needed to go. He never missed a family meeting, reunion, card party, or anything the family was involved in. He supported his family at all events whenever possible. He could quote dates and times of almost every birthdate of every family member or event. He loved reminiscing about the days of his childhood with his nephews and nieces. He always greeted everyone with a big smile.
