Alice Johnson Simmons was born in Ittabena Mississippi on September 6, 1927 to the Union of Caldonia and Frank Miller. Alice was united in Holy Matrimony to Stanley D. Johnson. During this union she was blessed with 8 children. Alice accepted Christ at a early age at Rock of Ages Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Jessie David. Alice later became a member of Hillside Christian Church, under the leadership of Pastor Fredrick Tally. Where she served faithfully until her health would not allow her. Alice worked many years caring for handicapped children Alice passion was cooking big soul food dinner on Sunday every week for her children and grandchildren. Alice loved going out to eat to her favorite restaurant Red Lobster with all her children. Alice really enjoys spending lost of time with her children, especially going shopping with her daughters for Beautiful Hats. Alice was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Stanley D. Johnson. Three sons Willie R. Johnson, Franklin D. Johnson, Johnny R Johnson. One brother Joseph Brown and one Great Grandson Leon Thomas. Alice truly loved and wore more many earthly hats. Now, Alice has received her Heavenly Crown! Alice made her transition to Glory on Friday February 16,2018.
